The water footprint of sheep and beef production

The water footprint for sheep and beef production (cradle-to-meat processing gate) will be determined through an analysis of seven farm classes throughout New Zealand. The review report of water footprint methodologies was completed in September 2011. A draft version of the second report with the water footprint results, has been presented to the funders, and the report will be finalised by the 30th of June 2012.
