Landcare Research, AgriLink Ltd, Plant & Food Research, Massey University

The total GHG footprint for a range of berryfruit grown in NZ has been evaluated. Unique research includes involvement with small-scale crop cultivation systems and GHG measurement methods for mixed coolstore and packhouse activities.  Project activities extended to developing cost saving and GHG reduction strategies, providing guidance for the ongoing management of GHG emission over time and business case development for engaging major customers.
